Sellah terms of use

Effective 17 October 2026. Sellah is a public Singapore marketplace for listing items and making direct buyer–seller enquiries. Online checkout is currently limited to Stripe sandbox testing; no real payment can be made through Sellah at this stage.

Listings and conversations

Sellers must own or be authorised to sell the listed item, use their own images, describe condition and defects accurately, set a genuine price, and remove or mark unavailable items promptly. Do not list illegal, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe or prohibited goods. Buyers and sellers are responsible for the information they share and the arrangements they make. An enquiry is not a reservation or purchase.

Trading safely

At the current public stage, buyers and sellers arrange payment, collection, delivery, returns and any refund directly. Sellah does not verify a seller, hold funds, guarantee goods, arrange shipping or provide buyer protection. Read our safety and selling rules before arranging an exchange. Contact the appropriate authorities if you suspect fraud or face an urgent safety risk.

Moderation

Signed-in users may report a listing. Sellah may hide or remove listings that appear unsafe, misleading or contrary to these rules. The current reporting queue is reviewed manually; a report does not guarantee immediate action. Do not put identity documents, passwords or payment credentials into listings or messages.

Stripe test seller setup

Sandbox Checkout is a test feature and cannot move real money. A seller choosing test onboarding accepts a Sellah commission of 28.5% of the listed item price, rounded to the nearest cent. The test seller's amount is the item price less that fee. Sellah bears Stripe processing fees and does not charge GST. There is no shipping charge in Checkout. The platform's destination-charge setup makes Sellah responsible for payment processing fees and exposed to refunds and disputes. These test terms do not activate live payments. Live checkout will require separate operational readiness and updated commercial terms.
